Artisana sent me a wonderful variety of nut butters to sample. From almond to pecan to coconut butter I was in nut butter heaven!
I first tried the almond and walnut butter on ice cream, Blue Bunny Coconut Macaroon crunch to be exact. The flavor from the nut butters was so real and I loved the texture of them.
I also tried the pecan butter straight on a banana, YUM! I’m still in the process of getting to the coconut butter variety because I don’t know how to use it yet?
Besides ice cream and nut butter I’ve been enjoying lots of yummy foods like butternut squash, avocado. blue cheese and lots of salads. Although one thing I’ve wanted/craved all pregnancy was a margarita, can’t wait to have one soon!
Weather here in NW Iowa this October has been so warm and I’ve been trying to get out as much as possible, but very hard with a newborn. I can’t wait to be cleared for running again in 3 weeks, it will be much needed stress relief.
Better go feed my starving newborn who eats every 1-2 hours these days:)
